If you have an appointment preference already in mind, select a scheduling preference. This is optional at this point, but any date you select will be shared with the matched provider.

We'll match you exclusively with a top-rated and certified local expert from our Expert Marketplace. Once the provider accepts, we'll immediately share their contact information via a feature-rich landing page including company name, email, phone number, hours of operation, and recent reviews.
You'll receive regular email/SMS updates throughout the fulfillment process letting you know when your appointment has been confirmed. You can login to your HandyBuddy account at any time to track the status of your request.
When the job is done, we'll text and email you asking if the service has been completed to your satisfaction. If not, the provider will return to address any outstanding issues. Payment due will be the exact amount quoted when you placed the request (assuming no changes in scope). The provider isn't paid unless we know you are 100% satisfied.
1. How does scheduling work? Will I be able to schedule my service before placing my order?
Click the calendar icon below the quote on this page to set a scheduling preference. The actual appointment confirmation happens between you and the provider directly after the request has been submitted and you've been matched with a local expert.
2. Can I make changes to my appointment?
Absolutely. However, there are certain limitations regarding rescheduling & cancellations. See the 'Matching & Cancellation Policy' page for more details.
3. How does billing work?
Prior to submitting your request online, you will be asked to save a credit/debit card on file with us. Your saved card will not be charged at that time. We only authorize the saved card the full quoted price of the service(s). Your saved card will be charged only after a successful match has been made with a local expert and your appointment has been confirmed.
4. Who are the experts sent to complete the project? Have they been fully vetted?

5. What is covered by Heavy/Bulky item move to room of choice (and what is not)?
Our local crews are NOT professional movers so if you have special needs regarding bringing your box or boxes inside, please hire 3rd party movers. A 2-man crew can bring a dolly and wheel your box or boxes to the room of choice or carry the box if the weight permits. But if a 2-man crew with a dolly cannot accommodate the movement of boxes, then do not select the move boxes as an ADD-ON service as they will not be able to accommodate your request.
