Permanent outdoor lights start at $345 for a simple roofline run. The length of the run and how much of the house you want covered set the rest, and every number is on the page before you book.

- Full house plus landscaping, trees and shrubs: +$150
- Christmas lights removal: from $185 for a one-story home up to 2,000 sq ft; larger and multi-story homes are priced by tier on the page

- A few states carry a small location adjustment; it appears in your price the moment you choose your location
Before your expert arrives
- Have the kit on site and unboxed, with the power adapter and any extra track sections
- Know where the nearest outdoor outlet is — the run starts and ends there
- Decide what you want lit: roofline only, or roofline plus landscaping and trees
- Clear gutters of leaves where the track will mount; a clean fascia means a straighter line
- Have the app installed and your Wi-Fi password ready so pairing happens on the spot
