I need to speak with the installer before submitting a request
Installers are assigned after your request is submitted. You’ll be able to communicate once matched.
I want a quote (and service) for multiple items
You can add multiple items during checkout to receive a combined quote and schedule service together.
I live in Canada but the quote is in US dollars
All quotes are displayed in US dollars, even for services requested in Canada.
The address needed for service is different from the address for my card
You can enter a separate service address during checkout — it does not need to match your billing address.

What is the phone number for customer support?
HandyBuddy does not provide phone support. All support requests must be submitted through our Help Center.
How can I see reviews of my matched expert’s work?
Reviews for your matched expert can be viewed directly from your request details in the Help Center.
I want to cancel a service request
To cancel a request, submit a cancellation through the Help Center as soon as possible.
Why did you already charge my credit card?
Your payment method is authorized at booking to secure your service. Final charges follow completion.
What is the status of my request? I haven’t heard anything from you.
You can view real-time updates and messages by logging into your Help Center account.
I need to schedule / reschedule my appointment
Scheduling changes must be submitted through the Help Center for proper handling.
I want to report an issue with scheduling
Please submit scheduling issues through the Help Center so our team can assist.
I’d like to have my request reassigned to a different provider
Provider reassignment requests should be submitted through the Help Center.
I need to set / reset my password
Passwords can be set or reset from the login page using the “Forgot Password” option.
How can I change the payment method saved?
Payment methods can be updated from your account dashboard.
How can I coordinate the delivery with setup?

Get a Quote, Submit a Request, and Get Matched

1. Locate the Service You Need

HandyBuddy offers thousands of certified local services across categories like Handyman, Outdoor Living, Fitness Equipment, and more. Here’s how to quickly find the exact service you need.

Step-by-Step
  1. Use the search bar at the top of any page to enter your item or project (e.g., “TV Mounting”, “Shed Installation”, “Playset Assembly”).
  2. Browse category pages to explore grouped services and find the closest match to your project.
  3. Once you’ve found your service, click the “QUOTES & SERVICE” button to begin your request.
Tip: On mobile devices, the search bar may appear lower on the page. Scroll to locate it.

Submit a Special Request

2. Check for Coverage in Your Area

HandyBuddy provides service across the United States and Canada. Before submitting a request, you’ll need to confirm that coverage is available in your area.

Step-by-Step
  1. Click the “QUOTES & SERVICE” button on the service page.
  2. A modal will appear prompting you to enter your zip code.
  3. Enter the zip code where service is needed. You’ll get an instant quote if coverage is available.
  4. If service is not available, you’ll see a message below the zip code box letting you know.
Tip: Canadian customers: Be sure to confirm your currency preference at the top of the page before submitting a request.
If service isn’t available: You’ll see a message letting you know. Please try again later or check back soon.

3. View a Quote and Schedule a Request

HandyBuddy provides fixed-price quotes for every service. Once you’ve confirmed coverage, you’ll be able to view your quote and select a preferred appointment date.

Step-by-Step
  1. After entering your zip code, you’ll be taken to the quote page for your selected service.
  2. Review the quote details, including pricing, what’s included, and any add-ons or options.
  3. Confirm what you’ll be supplying (e.g., model numbers, parts, equipment).
  4. Use the calendar widget to select your preferred appointment date. The first available date will be shown first.
Tip: HandyBuddy quotes are fixed-price and based on your location, what you supply, and any selected add-ons. This is not an estimate.
Important: Agents cannot provide quotes or take requests over the phone or chat. All quotes and scheduling must be completed online.

4. Submit a Request

Once you’ve reviewed your quote and selected a scheduling preference, you’re ready to submit your request and get matched with a certified local expert.

Step-by-Step
  1. Click the “GET MATCHED” button on your quote page.
  2. Confirm your appointment preference and any final details.
  3. Click “BOOK NOW” to finalize your request. You’ll receive confirmation and next steps via email.
Tip: You’ll be matched with a top-rated expert in your area. They’ll contact you directly to confirm the appointment.
Reminder: You must complete the request online. Agents cannot take bookings over phone or chat.

5. How to Cancel a Request

If your plans change or you no longer need service, you can cancel your request directly from your HandyBuddy account. Here’s how to do it.

Step-by-Step
  1. Go to handybuddy.com and click the “Login” link at the top or bottom of the page.
  2. Enter your email and password to access your account. If you forgot your password, use the reset link.
  3. On your account summary page, locate the request you want to cancel under “My Requests.”
  4. Click the “Cancel Service?” link beneath the request status. Follow the prompts to complete your cancellation.
Tip: You can only cancel requests that haven’t been completed. If your expert has already arrived or started work, reach out to support for help.
