How are service requests priced?
The quote you see advertised online is a firm no-haggle quote for all services we offer...it's the price you will pay...these are not estimates. You may also want to include optional add-ons to your service request such as moving boxes so be sure to go through your request in detail, including viewing what is and isn't included, before booking an expert. Some limitations apply (such as product selected on-line not matching what's actually on-site), but those can be reviewed in our terms of service section
How does scheduling work? Will I be able to schedule my service before placing my order?
We give you the opportunity to share your scheduling preference which helps us determine which provider/technician to match you with. After clicking GET AN INSTANT QUOTE, you will see an SELECT DATE button. Click it to set your appointment preference. But don't forget to go the next page and BOOK NOW to confirm and submit your request. The actual appointment confirmation happens between you and the matched provider directly after the request has been placed. There is no charge to reschedule or cancel a request (some conditions apply).
How do I cancel a request?
You would need to login to your HandyBuddy account and request a cancellation there. We cannot accept requests to cancel a request via chat, email or over the phone as there are terms and conditions that need to be reviewed and acknowledged by you before the canceallation request can be processed.
Who do I contact if I have questions about an appointment?
Once your request has been matched with a preferred provider from our Expert Marketplace, all future communications about the service will be between you and the provider directly. You will be provided with a contact number to reach them in the event you have any questions, comments or concerns once the appointment has been confirmed by them.
Can I make changes to my appointment?
Absolutely. However, there are limitations regarding booking & cancellations. See the 'Booking & Cancellation Policy' for more details.
Is there a warranty?
Yes. If you're not totally satisfied with the provider who completed your project, let us know and we'll make it right at no extra charge.
Will my old item or the used boxes be hauled away?
No. Service does not include hauling away packing materials. The crew can dispose of any trash in your on-site trash cans or curbside.

How does billing & payment work? What forms of payment do you accept?
If you elect to save your credit/debit card on file, it will be authorized (but not charged) for the full price of the service(s) once the request has been submitted. All charges are applied to the credit card saved on file only after your service has been completed. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, & Amex. We do not accept cash or checks. You cannot change your payment method saved with us once your request has been authorized. If more than 30 days has passed since you placed your order, your stored card on file will be deleted and you will be invoiced for completed services after that point.
Who are the experts sent to complete the service request? Have they been fully vetted?
We only partner with well established service providers with a proven track record of performance and reliability. Please see the 'OUR EXPERTS' page for more details. We require full background checks and ensure that whoever is sent to your home or office is skilled in the service to be completed.
What are your customer service hours of operation?
HandyBuddy office hours are Monday-Saturday, 8am to 7pm PST and Sunday 10-5pm PST
