- Connection to existing power or wiring; batteries fitted and charge verified on battery models
- App download, account set-up, Wi-Fi or Bluetooth pairing and a live test on your phone
- Keypad codes, fingerprints, motion zones and auto-lock settings configured with you
What’s not included
- The device itself — you supply the equipment; we supply the expert
- New doorbell wiring, a transformer or an HVAC common wire where none exists today
- Boring a new deadbolt hole in a door that has never had one — that is the New Installation option, priced on the page
- Subscription plans, which are set up with the device’s manufacturer
- Anchors and fixings beyond what ships in the box — you supply the hardware on any mounting service

- Video doorbells: Ring battery $145, Ring wired $150, Google Nest $155, Blink $185; Ring Chime +$40–$45
- Thermostat installation: priced on its page as services are added
- A few states carry a small location adjustment; it appears in your price the moment you choose your location
