The Assembly & Installation Partner for Retailers and Brands
Certified assembly and installation, quoted at a fixed price and embedded wherever your customers already are. Every job is offered to one vetted expert from our closed network — never auctioned, never sold as a lead. Set it up yourself in about ten minutes, with no set-up fee.
Brands like yours are already selling installation with HandyBuddy.
18 brands and 12 retailers, each with a page in both our names, a portal of their own, and every job credited back to them.

Three kinds of job, one network of vetted local experts. If your customer bought it online, indoors or out, we install it.
Your pages, your call.

Three ways to connect
We run it on your site.
Paste one line and it appears on every product page, in the look you pick. Your customer never leaves your site, and you build nothing.
Customers book without leaving your site.
- Real-time quotes on your pages
- Fixed price before they buy
- Five looks, or match your storeNew
- Set it up yourself, any platform
You own the experience.
The page your customer starts from is yours: a "Learn more →" you place that hands off to your partner page, or an interface you build on our quote engine.
You link to us. We do the rest.
- Live in days
- Deep-link with ?sku=
- Zero development
The same engine, in your interface.
- Full control of UI and UX
- Published quote and availability APIs
- Dev effort your side
Or something you built yourself. A link works anywhere; the Buddy Widget and API cover the rest.
Four steps. No application, no developer.
The partner app walks you through it, and most of step 2 is done before you arrive.
A closed network: we choose them, we score them, we assign the work.
Closed means nobody joins by signing up, and nobody bids for your job. Every expert is approved before they are in, and the work is handed out on measured performance.
Nobody bids and nobody races. The best-scored expert who covers that address is offered the job exclusively, with a window to accept. If they pass, it cascades to the next. That is why response times hold up — taking the offer, or passing quickly, is itself scored.
You are not choosing a vendor. You are choosing what happens to your customer.
Most platforms either sell the request as a lead, or post it and let pros race to claim it. Both are legitimate businesses — but you are the one who sent your customer there, and neither model chooses who turns up.
Their details enter a lead pool and are sold to several pros — often four to six.
Every pro in the area sees it at once and races to claim it.
Scored against the pros who cover that address, then offered exclusively to the best fit.
The pros who bought the lead. Buying it is the qualification.
First tap wins — which rewards whoever happens to be idle, not whoever is best.
Merit and fit. Being free at 2pm is not a qualification.
Everyone who bought the lead calls, texts and emails.
Whoever won the race. If nobody claims it, it just sits.
One name, one number, one arrival window, on a clock. If they pass, it cascades immediately.
Quotes vary by pro, and the number often moves once someone is in the room.
The price may be fixed, but who turns up was decided by reflexes.
Quoted against their address at the point of purchase.
The platform introduced them. A dispute is with a stranger.
The platform did not choose them either — it just held the door.
We chose the expert, so the outcome is ours. We fix it, and it moves their score.
Their details sit with everyone who bought them.
Handed over on claim, before anyone has judged the fit.
Never pooled, never sold on. The one assigned expert and your customer get each other's details at match — which most nationwide outfits will not do.
A bad week of phone calls, and they remember who sent them.
Whoever was free, not whoever was good.
One price, one expert, one date — and they remember who sent them.
All three work — for different buyers. Lead generation and claims boards are built for the contractor looking for work. Exclusive assignment is built for the brand whose name is on the box: it is the only one of the three where somebody chose the expert on merit and is answerable for the result. Nobody is named here on purpose — the model is the argument, and naming a competitor puts their brand on your page.
The part nobody else puts on a page like this.
Your customer’s job does not end at the payment, and neither does ours. It is the same on every plan. This is the whole chain, and none of it lands on your team.
Booked
A fixed price, agreed at booking. Nothing enters your cart and nothing touches your gateway.
Assigned
One expert is offered the job alone, on their record. Not a race, and never a lead sold to five people.
Scheduled
The customer picks the day. Every reschedule after that is ours to handle, not yours.
Day of
A named expert, their contact details, and an arrival window they can hold us to.
Completed
Marked done by the expert and confirmed by the customer before any payout is released.
Guaranteed
If it is wrong, the claim is ours. Repair, return visit or refund — you are not in the loop.
Scored
The customer's review feeds that expert's record, which decides who gets offered the next one.
Also on every plan: store pick-up & delivery. Last-mile logistics and assembly, combined in one flow.
Your customer’s own page for everything after the sale.
It is called My Requests. They sign in and see where their job stands, who is coming and how to reach them, without calling you.

HandyBuddy assigns and manages the expert on your jobs, so expert details are not shown. Customer contact and expert payout are never shared.
New products land in review while we set the install price. You never price the work.

Who hears from us, and about what
How do I offer assembly and installation on my store?
Sign up free, and the partner app reads your store and shows which of your products we already install. Pick a look, paste one line into your store, and assembly appears on those product pages with the real installed price. Most partners are live in about ten minutes. It works on Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, Magento, Salesforce, Wix, Squarespace or a site you built yourself.
What does it cost my store?
The Buddy Widget has no set-up fee and no contract, and you can earn a rebate on the installations your customers book. Smart Link set-up starts at $500. Your customer pays the installed price, and there is nothing due today when they request it.
What products do you install?
Furniture, fitness equipment, sheds, playsets, gazebos and pergolas, saunas and cold plunges, game room equipment, garage storage, appliances, lighting, TV mounting and more. If yours isn’t priced yet, send it to us from the partner app and we’ll price it, usually within a business day.
Who does the work?
Vetted local experts from our closed network. Nobody buys their way in or bids for your job: the best-scored expert who covers that address is offered it alone, and every job they do feeds their score.
Where do you install?
Nationwide, across the United States. If no expert covers a customer’s address, the assembly offer simply doesn’t show for them, so your page never makes a promise we can’t keep.
What if something goes wrong?
It’s ours to fix. Every job is backed by the HandyBuddy Happiness Guarantee: a repair, a return visit or a refund, handled with your customer directly. Your team isn’t in the loop.
Live on your product pages in about ten minutes.
Join the brands and retailers who hand the post-purchase job to us — one vetted expert per install, one fixed price, nationwide, with nothing new to operate on your side.
