What’s not included
The product itself — you supply what you bought, we supply the expert
Anchoring or mounting hardware beyond what ships in the box, on any service that anchors or mounts
Site work that has to exist first, such as a level base or a new electrical outlet, on any service that needs it
Removal or disposal of an existing unit, unless it is booked as its own service
Preparation
Check Your Order — Open the boxes and confirm every shade and its hardware arrived before the visit.
Clear the Windows — Move furniture and décor away from each window.
Charge Motors — Fully charge battery motors so they can be paired the same day.
Old Blinds — Tell your expert about any old blinds to take down.

What does Graywind installation include?
Brackets mounted level, each shade hung and tested, motorized shades paired with your app or remote, and packaging removed.
How is the price set?
One fixed price for the whole job, set by how many windows you have. Each extra window costs less than the first.
Can you measure my windows before I order?
Yes. Book Shade Measurement and your expert measures each window, including mounting depth and any obstructions.
Will professional installation affect my Graywind warranty?
No. Installation to the manufacturer's guide by a Vetted, Certified expert keeps your warranty intact.
We send your request to vetted, insured local experts picked on job history, completion rate and real experience with this kind of build. When one accepts, usually within a day, we text and email you, charge your Trust & Safety fee and hold the balance on your card (it isn’t charged yet). Until then, you pay $0.
