Every Ironclad assembly and installation on HandyBuddy is carried out by a Vetted, Certified local expert — fixed price upfront, no hourly surprises, and backed by our 100% Happiness Guarantee.

What’s included

  • Pole & Anchor Installation — Pole system set to the anchor kit and leveled per Ironclad's manual.
  • Backboard & Rim Mounting — Backboard, rim, and height-adjustment system mounted and aligned.
  • Height & Safety Check — Rim set to regulation, all hardware torqued, and stability verified.
  • Packaging Removal — All boxes and packing materials broken down and placed in your bins.

Basketball System Specialists — Tempered-glass backboards and in-ground anchor systems demand careful hands and proper torque — our pros install hoops routinely.

What’s not included

  • The product itself — you supply what you bought, we supply the expert
  • Anchoring or mounting hardware beyond what ships in the box, on any service that anchors or mounts
  • Site work that has to exist first, such as a level base or a new electrical outlet, on any service that needs it
  • Removal or disposal of an existing unit, unless it is booked as its own service

Preparation

  • Footing — Ironclad in-ground systems mount to a concrete footing with the anchor kit set per the manual — poured and fully cured before install day.
  • Clearance — Confirm overhead and play-area clearance at the pole location.
  • Access — Clear access from driveway or street to the install spot.
  • Staging — Keep the boxes near the footing — poles and glass backboards are heavy.

Common questions

What does Ironclad installation include?
Pole and anchor installation on your prepared footing, backboard and rim mounting, regulation height setting, torque and stability checks, and packaging removal.
Do you pour the concrete footing?
Pouring and curing the footing with the anchor kit per Ironclad's manual is site preparation — the customer's responsibility. Setting the pole and completing the install to spec is your expert's job. Note your footing status when booking.
Can the hoop height be adjusted?
Yes — the height-adjustment system is installed and demonstrated as part of the job.
How long does installation take?
With the footing prepared, most Ironclad systems are completed in a single visit.
Will assembly affect my Ironclad warranty?
No. Assembly to Ironclad's specification by a Vetted, Certified expert keeps your manufacturer warranty fully intact.
