It sits on your product page, in your template, on your domain. Everything below is your site — the outlined block, Buddy included, is the only thing that is ours.
The block knows which product they are looking at and roughly where they are, so it quotes the actual install price for that item at that address before they type anything.
We default it from their connection and let them change it. The price moves with it, in front of them.

We read your store and show what we install, at the same fixed price as handybuddy.com. Where a code could mean two versions, we ask which one. Until you answer, that product shows no price.

Your checkout, untouched.
Assembly never enters your cart as a line item and never touches your payment. Your total is your product, your gateway settles it, and your refunds work the way they always have.
Not a line item
On Shopify, a note rides through your order to your confirmation email and admin. On other platforms, Book assembly opens our secure checkout over your product page and the shopper pays us directly.

We never sit between you and your customer’s payment for the product. Assembly is settled separately, by us.

Marked done by the expert and confirmed by the customer before any payout is released.

If it is wrong, the claim is ours. Repair, return visit or refund — you are not in the loop.

The customer's review feeds that expert's record, which decides who gets offered the next one.
What happens on the addresses we cannot reach.
No network covers every postcode. What matters is what your product page does when ours does not — and it is never a broken promise in front of your customer.
The block stands down
If we have no qualified expert for that address, the block does not offer a price it cannot honour, and Buddy says so plainly. Your page carries on as if it were not there.
We tell them, and we refund
If a job is booked and we cannot staff it, the customer hears it from us and their money goes back. You are not the one apologising.
Reschedules are ours
Moves and cancellations run through us. Your support team never becomes our dispatch desk.

How do I offer assembly on my Shopify store?
Create a free HandyBuddy partner account, turn on the products you want to offer, pick a look and paste one line of code into your product template. Shoppers then see a fixed assembly price on the product page and add it in your normal checkout.
Does it work on BigCommerce, WooCommerce or a custom store?
Yes. The widget is one script tag, so it works on Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce and custom storefronts. The partner app checks your page and confirms it is installed.
What does it cost my store?
Nothing. There are no fees or contracts. Your customer pays the fixed assembly price, and partners can earn a rebate on the installations their customers book.

What if you don’t cover a customer’s address?
The widget checks coverage before it offers a price. If we can’t reach an address it steps aside instead of making a promise, and if something changes after booking, we tell the customer and refund them.
